<p>I submitted all my apps that were due by jan 1st and had already sent my transcripts. I thought everything was done until I realized that BOTH of the teachers who I asked to write my recs didn't upload it to the common app. After reminding the first teacher a couple times, he was very apologetic and uploaded it (finally. is that ok if the teacher uploaded it on the 7th and it was due the 1st?!) but the second teacher hasn't done anything still!! I have reminded her two or three times and she keeps saying ok but never does it. what should I do?! I don't want this to ruin/decrease my chances of admission!! should I ask another teacher to do it in one night or should I hope that this teacher actually does it? ugh I asked them in november, so why did they have to do this to me? the first teacher was nice about it and eventually got it done, but what do I do about the other rec? please, please, help. thanks!</p>
<p>hello lorraine, I have answered these type of concerns a few times now already over the past few days. This is happening to me too lol :D.
Ok, your headache is to submit the CA and the supplements on or before the deadline. Usually the application deadline does not apply to other stuff like transcripts and TRs. They can be sent in late, and also the school notifies the concerned student if certain documents are missing.

<p>bump…one more question. if the second teacher never loads the rec, what should I do? I NEED another rec but I’ve already asked her a million times and she keeps saying she’ll do it, but she never does. (or she thinks she’s doing it right but no matter how many times I reiterate that its not on there she doesn’t get it!!) </p>

<p>hmmm you could just try going to her house and then just refuse to go away until your teacher fills out your CA REC. online. 
This is what I did when my maths teacher delayed in writing me a REC. I usually used to call him up each day and then ask to complete it again and again. Finally worked :D</p>
<p>By the way, just asking, where did you apply for undergrad and for which major/degree/whatever?? Can you also tell me your stats?? :D</p>
<p>thanks omair but I don’t think stalking her would really work in my favor…and I applied to around 10 colleges but I mostly want to go to NYU, Barnard, or GWU and I’m undeclared.</p>

<p>I have a similar problem except there are two teachers who promised to do it when I sent it out over a month ago. I reminded them on several occasions even sending an email about the deadline on the 15th. Yet, they have not done anything. To make it worse, a snowstorm has cancelled school for most of this week so now I might have no way of contacting them before Saturday comes and I’m screwed. I’m sorry for venting but this just ****ed me off.</p>
<p>thing, its ok. Tell your teachers to explain the reason that they submitted late. The app deadline DOES NOT apply to teacher and counselor recs…
