i'm going to be applying to alot of colleges and each college has its own teacher rec form. my high school has a basic one. since i don't want to bombard my teachers w/ like 10 recommendations, wud it hurt my chances if i just used my high school's and sent it to every college.

bumb.....I have the same question

This would be a good question to ask adcoms-they may be fine with it; I don't know. My advice:

1) Use the college's rec form.
2) Have the teacher(s) type a generic rec letter that (s)he can attach to each college's rec form.

sorry i'm new to this part of the site.
what's adcoms?

Admissions committee; the people that review the applications and decide who is accepted/rejected.

My school does the same thing. They type out a recommendation starting with "To whom it may concern: (whoever) has been my student for past bla hblah blah" then they attach it to the college's recommendation form and then tick whatever boxes need to be filled. :)
