<p>I’m wondering because I first got 2 recommenders, and now I realized there were 2 other teachers that really liked me and offered to do recommendations for me. I don’t want teachers to get angry/sad/whatever because I didn’t use their recommendation.</p>

<p>No. You should invite them right away so they have time to get your rec written.</p>
<p>You want to invite them so their name is inside the common app. Then you assign each teacher to be one of the recs you want for each school you apply to. So they have to be “invited” before you can assign them.</p>
