Does alma-mater of the teacher matter? If I was applying to Princeton, would a rec from a science teacher who went there help at all??
Unless s/he gives 7 figures, the fact that s/he went to P’ton will not help you. A well-written recommendation that shows unique insight, regardless of the alma mater, is far more important.
