<p>On the Harvard Supplement, it says 11th and 12th grade teachers are preferred. However, if I have a 10th grade teacher that'll write a better rec than any of my junior/senior teachers, is it ok for her to write one? Will it hurt me a lot?</p>
<p>If the 10th grade teacher can write a much better rec. then obviously go for the 10th grade teacher. I don't think it'll hurt you if it's a good rec.</p>
