Teacher recs issue

<p>One of my teachers said they would complete my recs during vacation...however she has not even opened it yet. The request is just sitting there. The rec is one of the required ones.</p>

<p>I sent it to her through email (after asking her during class, to which she agreed) in the beginning of November. A little before break started my dad sent her an email asking her if she had a chance to complete them (politely) and she didn't respond for around 3 days until I asked her about the email. </p>

<p>We have two snow days that extend our break, and right now I'm not feeling very confident that she will be doing them in the weekend.</p>

<p>They are all due January 15, which is approximately two weeks. Before vacation began several other students I asked also said she had not completed them.</p>

<p>Any ideas of how I should approach this? I don't want the stress of waiting until the last day and worrying that all the work on my applications this fall have been wasted. I'm hoping that the reason why they are not done is due to the large amount of applicants in my grade and that she will get to them soon...but at this point I don't really know.</p>

<p>Relax. On monday, the teacher will still have more than a wk to fill it out, and it doesn’t take that long to do. While u absolutely need to get your parts of the application submitted by the deadline, the schools expect the other bits (test scores, recs, transcripts) to be filtering in thru the end of the mo. GENTLY remind the teacher on monday. And if u are still nervous, then contact the school directly and explain the situation and get confirmation from the school that is ok if the rec is a few days late. It’s no big deal.</p>
