Okay, so I'm applying to JHU for EARLY DECISION (deadline is tonight). But one of my teacher haven't submitted his recommendation for me. I already submitted all my applications, supplements, payments, and SAT scores. I gave him 4 weeks to do it, and he forgot (reminded him twice already). I'm so ****ed. Does that mean JHU would NOT look at my application then? And, will this application be moved to regular decision once my teacher turned in the recommendation? If so, do I have to pay the application fee again?

I am so nervous....

The college will send you a note that your file is incomplete, but he really should get it in as soon as possible. If he never sends it in, you may get deferred and, no, you won’t have to pay the fee again. Maybe you should find a back up teacher just in case.

E-mail him tonight. Worst case scenario, since ED is important, find out his/her phone number or a school administrator’s phone number (to find out his/her’s). Call.

Wait, can the people writing your letter of recs, start filling the forms out, before you submit your Common App?

But the application is due today… Would it still count as early app if he finish it by next week?

I submitted everything to the school already. It said they “downloaded” my application already.
