<p>I'm from NYC, and as you may have heard, the transit strike pretty much cancelled the last week of school before winter break. I gave my teacher rec forms/envelopes to my teachers abt a month ago, but not knowing the strke was going to happen, I didnt have a chance to remind my teachers, and currently, I have no way of contacting my teachers...</p>
<p>Do teacher recs have to be postmarked by Jan 1/Jan 2?
Or should I assume that since they must be writign for a bunch of other students, that they're on top of things?</p>
<p>ahhhh! advice?</p>
