My teacher who was supposed to write my humanities rec just took a disliking towards me for reasons unstated.

Cornell has been my first choice for soooo long and I don't want this stupid incident to screw up my chances. Another humanities rec is not possible since all the teachers are full in my science-oriented school.

So, I was wondering whether there was any way I could get 2 science/math recs instead of a humanities one.
I am applying to College of Engineering.

or theres always my freshman year history teacher.....

For anyone wanting to know, a humanities rec is not required
Just any two academic subjects, preferably not the same one.

I think that will work. Since this is a thread about teacher recs, one of my teachers sends them to the college himself. Will I need to submit my application online before he sends his out to the admissions office or does Cornell just keep all that stuff and put it together when everything arrives?

I'm pretty sure they create a "space" for you when they recieve the first part of any material - whether it's a recommendation, SAT scores, or your application. So yes, it would be fine I think.
