<p>OK, so I'm a junior, and I know which teachers to write my recs... I know my math teacher is going to write me a very good rec because I'm a good student and talk to her a lot outside a class... However, my history teacher is not as good because I don't participate much in the class, but she said she "only writes good things" on her recs if ppl ask her to... Will this history teacher rec make me not get into any good colleges?</p>
<p>No. If she's willing to write you a solid recommendation, it won't hurt you at all. However, if there's someone else who knows you better, you can ask that teacher. It doesn't need to be a history teacher.</p>
