<p>as far as i know they require only one. i sent just one from my guidance counselor and didn't send my teacher recommendation, and i got in.</p>

<p>That's correct. We require the counselor recommendation, but do not require teacher recs. If you would like to send a few in, feel free to do so!</p>
<p>If someone other than a teacher or counselor writes a recommendation, is there any way to check if it has arrived?</p>
