Sorry if this was asked already...

I know UPenn prefers to have teachers submit recs online, but none of my teachers/counselors are doing that [as far as I know], so I gave them envelopes.

My friend is applying EA to Yale and says that he needs to specify "Regular Decision" or "Early Decision" on his envelopes.
I'm just wondering if UPenn requires that as well?
Or will they just know that it's for ED based on the time it's submitted?

Is there a box or a place on the letter to indicate whether it's for ED or RD? I don't remember writing anything regarding that on the envelope last year...

Suppose that Penn doesn't require the clarification, I think you should still specify "ED" or "RD" on all the envelops. That will greatly help the admission office to sort out mails and make sure your app goes to the right place.

There isn't a place on the school forms for counselors/teachers to indicate ED/RD :(
Plus, it's too late for me to write ED or RD on my envelopes because my teachers have sent them out already...

:(
:(
:(

I don't know what to do...
Hopefully it won't matter...
