Someone please clear this up for me: does the Common App require two recommendation letters for all colleges, regardless of the requirements of the university, and then you add on what the university wants in addition to that?

https://app.commonapp.org/CommonApp/docs/downloadforms/Teacher_Evaluation.pdf

Do I have to have two of those ready for each university? Can I have them do it online? Two of my teachers have already written 2 great letters for me for one college, and I'll use those same letters for the other universities, but can I have them use the same text for common app and then they fill in the bubbles? Do they have to mail this one in? Or does this all depend on the university that I'm applying to?

Anyone? Do you always have to use the common app teacher recs if you apply to the college via common app?

It depends totally on the college, not on the Common Ap. Give the teachers the form and envelope for each school and yes, they can use the same rec for several schools--the teachers know how to do it. If it's a school that accepts the Common App, print out the rec from it--one if that's all your college requires or two and the counselor form if that's what your college requires.
