teacher recs

is it appropriate to ask a teacher if he/she can write a rec for you through email? or is it better to ask in person.

Ask in person!

Probably better in person, you are going to have to see them anyway to give forms.

I’ve asked through email, but tis a teacher that knows me really well that I’m always talking to, so he kind of knew in advance to the request.

I’d say ask in person though.

ask in person. i dont think i have heard of anyone asking through email

Ask in person. I also recommend putting a gun to their head. It shows you will do whatever it takes to get your desire. Colleges love determination.

I asked through email for a summer program.

It depends on how you know the teacher. I asked all of mine through e-mail at 3 in the morning… ummm lol

But the next day I went in and talked about it. E-mail is fine.

Stop being a wuss, Wesley.

Just pick 2 teachers who know you’re a hard worker and are interesting. If you’re not both of those things, then it’s community college for you!

:)

Pick two teachers or two people who know u really well, preferably uf good and bads
