Teacher Rejected.

Ok, so I was planning on self studying Ap Art History over the summer and I was talking to my Honors World History teacher about it, because he is actually certified to teach it (it's not offered at our school) we talked for a bit and he said to shoot him an email and we would keep in contact. I did and he never responded. I emailed him again, no response. I even called his home! Wife answered, no call back. So I need some help on where to start. I know the teacher was planning on having me study Classical Civ over the summer (the history only not the art) I would really appreciate textbook suggestions. Also, if anyone else has another idea of where to start I would really appreciate it. I have Gardner's 12th, The Annotated Mona Lisa, and Barron's. Thanks.

Looks like your teacher ■■■■■■■ you. That son of a *****.

Self-study then, and tell his wife to make you a sandiwch.

I would self-study then. The AP Art History teacher gave us a summer assignment (I’m on break after finishing my soph year and I’m taking the class in junior year) and that was to analyze some pieces of art and read through The Annotated Mona Lisa.

Good luck! Maybe your teacher went somewhere for vacation?..

^^LOL lemone

Self study with the books you have.

Self-studying would appear to be the way to go, since your teacher decided to act really immature. Some people on this forum, though, have said that self-studying AP Art history is a difficult thing to do

Go on apcentral.collegeboard.com and look at exam questions that have been offered in the past if you plan to self-study. They helped me a lot for other exams!

Here are links to other threads about self-studying Art History. Read the posts. They tell you how to study for it.
