Teacher's Aide Question?

So this is my situation: I am a CA high school student, and one of the required classes we have to take is Health Ed. I took it this fall and now, since the class is a semester course, I am a TA for a teacher on campus. I did not take any other class because the rest of the semester courses provided in my school are classes that are non-a-g classes. So I decided to become a TA.
Now, I have been hearing from other students that are also TAs that being a TA counts as community service and I am wondering if that is true. I am curious because, if it is so, I could have it on my future college application.
So, in your opinion or such, does being a TA also count as doing community service?
Please and thank you!

Volunteering at a soup kitchen or animal shelter = community service.
Reading to the blind = community service.
Tutoring transitional housing children = community service.
Grading math homework and stapling review packets for a semester class that’s part of your class schedule = not community service.

@SingHar17 Thank you for your answer! I have not been sure about this matter because multiple students kept on telling me that it counts, one of them being a close friend of mine. Thank you a bunch again!

No problemo.
