Normally, students disrespect teachers while teachers act professional and deal with it. But every now and then they can't help themselves. What is the best insulting comment you've ever heard a teacher make about a student?

Context:

We were passing back books we had just finished, and the teacher came to the name of a (somewhat trashy) girl who had been there to take a copy of the book but dropped the class shortly thereafter.

Teacher: Well, I guess I'll never see that book again....unless I'm driving down Congress St. and I pick her up...

I forget the name of the actual street he mentioned, but apparently it was where all the prostitutes "hang out." Don't know why he knew.

I'll think of better ones later. You guys got any?

I'm surprised that teacher hasn't been fired for that comment. Not only is that rude (I don't care how trashy that girl was, if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all...keep it in your head), but very unprofessional as well. This is why teaching isn't a respected profession like the old days.

If you're a student and being disrespectful, I'm sure teachers can find a way to "burn" students without a loss of professionalism.

No, in the old days teachers were respected becaused they were allowed to humiliate, embarass and utterly crush disobedient pupils.

yeahh, so my math teacher goes through the quizzes after she finishes grading them & reads out the student name and the grade. you get to choose whether you want it read out loud or if you want to see it later, but most people choose to have it read out loud.

my teachers always make fun of us. But Jokingly...so it seems.

but one time, the english teacher got so ****ed off at us becasue we were being noisy, she shouted: "Shut up you bunch of losers! Do you really have no social life that you come to school to chat with your friends?!"

um.....my english teacher took out a wooden shoe horn and threatened to flog this one kid and threatened to shoot someone else and threatened to lock me in th closet :).......shes by far my favorite teacher lol

I have French IV and my varsity soccer coach is also the French teacher. There are only 7 people in the class, and one day, he was ticked off about another period and I made some comment that he got mad at.

He happened to have the bag of soccer balls right there by his desk, and everybody was like make him get on the wall and throw the ball at him. So he made me put my back on the wall, hands in the air, and he chucked the ball straight at me and hit me in the forehead.......... lol it was so funny even though i got knocked square in the head.... (at least it wasn't the man part)

my calculus teacher just flat out called me a wretch and told me that i suck at life. needless to say she wrote me a good recommendation letter.

my ap biology teacher makes fun of me constantly. usually i don't care, but it's REALLY starting to get to the point where it's harassment/teasing instead of just joking around like all of my other teachers do. i hate it :(

and dont think that i just can't take a joke...all of my other teachers make fun of me, jokingly, and i'm fine with it. its just the way this teacher does it...it's NOT meant as a joke :-

Turbotw, you do realize that you can now sue that teacher? That kind of behavior is not acceptable; if this is a public school, just the description of the case and a generic threat of legal action will make them cry.
