Teacher's Evaluations Submit please help!

One of my teachers submitted a form online for my EA school. I created an alternate version of the common app original form and added her as a teacher again for my RD schools. She said that she didn't get email (or did and didn't tell me?) for my new schools. However, when I added her on my second form of the original app, uder status it says "Submitted: 10/15/08." Does the common app automatically transfer the original submitted teacher evaluation to the new form? I am so confused! please help

Yes, it does. When you invite a teacher and she submits an evaluation, commonapp.org saves the evaluation. Then when you assign that teacher as one of your evaluators for a particular college, a copy of the teacher's previously entered evaluation will be submitted to the college.

i wish i had read this b4 i added my teacher to my alternate version...on the evaluation she wrote it for a specific school for EA...i'm guessing i'd have to call the RD school and tell them to disregard that evaluation right and send them a new one?
HELP!

omg how? help me!!!

coffeelover, here's some information for you from the Common App School Forms Support Center

I've made a mistake. Can you unsubmit my SSR or TE?
This depends on the status of the applicant's submissions. Once the student has submitted the application and colleges have downloaded the information, they have typically begun processing the forms. We would have to notify each college to which the student submitted and ask permission to unsubmit the forms. The college would then have to reprint the forms.

If you need us to proceed, please submit a ticket. Normally we do not make changes once the colleges have downloaded the forms.

THANK YOU SOO MUCH GEEK_MOM you've been a great help.

I just had a question, would it be better for me to just email the school's and tell them that my teacher had me fill out a questionaire of some sort and it asked me which school i was applying to, therefore he addressed the specific school in his letter, and that is why it says X student wants to attend upenn although the letter was sent to lets say duke..

or should i just contact commonapp to unsubmit my forms and redo everything with the TE??
----would colleges be mad, look down upon that?? (i mean being asked for permission to unsubmit the forms?)

Colleges don't typically make admission decisions based on whether they're mad at you. :) It might be a bit of a hassle for them and for you, and it may not be worth it. If your teacher is very friendly, you might consider asking her to call the schools with a mea-culpa ("Gosh, I had so many recommendation letters to write, I accidentally switched the college names on a couple of my students' letters... I'm so embarrassed... would you please make a note of this in his/her file?").

Or you could just contact each college and explain that the rec letter was for an EA application to U.Penn, but you're not bound to attend Penn... you've learned more about X college and you're now keenly interested in attending X college. That would probably be sufficient in your case.

Thank you once again!
You've truly eased my worries.
I hope you have a great 2009, you've sincerely added hope to mine.
Thanks again :)

Glad to have helped in my small way. ;) Post back with your decision results in the Spring; I'll be hoping good things for you! Good luck and good night!
