<p>I'm applying to harvey mudd and they require a rec from a math/science teacher. I'm really close to my computer science teacher and I did really well in her class, but i'm not sure if she would qualify as Math/Science. But she also teachers algebra 2, but I never took it, I only took her programming class. I'm also hoping to major in Computer Science, so I'm not so sure...</p>
<p>I think she would be able to write it, why dont you call Harvey Mudd??</p>
<p>If you're applying for Computer Science.. it definitely would not hurt you to have a recommendation from a Computer Science teacher. Since well, programming obviously incorporates math concepts (and sometimes science), it should be appropiate</p>
