Hello everybody!

So I am using common application online and I am an international student.
I would like to make a question about the teachers recommendations. Should the teacher signature be on the recommendation (when online)???

If yes how should they do that?
My teachers should upload just the document file in word (without signature), or print it sign it and then scan it or upload it?

Please help me, it's the first time for them and I don't know what to do
Thank you

Hello!
When you invite your teachers to do your rec, everything they need to do is online. They don’t need to print it out and re-upload it. I don’t know what their form looks like but I’m sure there’s a space to sign it by typing in their name. Once they fill it out, it’ll get sent to your account and then you just add it to the colleges you want.

Hello and thank you a lot for replying to my post!

If I got it right, my teacher has just to type her name, not to use her handwriting in signing the recommendation?
For example like this:

Yours sincerely,

Gjenovefa Xhakaj
Teacher of economics
Tregtare High School

Thanx a lot!!!

I’m pretty sure. When we have to sign the common app and waive our rights to see the recommendations, it just asks us to type our names. I assume it’s the same for teachers.
