I don't know about you guys, but I am fascinated by my teachers.
Especially the history department.
They love to get together and argue about politics and Hobbes and Locke and Freidman...and god knows what else.
I'd say I'm friends with a good 1/2 of my teachers.
Not to mention, my school insists on hiring very good-looking men in their twenties and thirties.
Ha.
Am I a sicko?
ROFL.

Weird, my school likes to hire very good-looking women in their early twenties for the Spanish Department. I go to an all male-school, so this could be a ploy to get us to work harder or something.

Lol, our math department does that. Except they talk about complex math theories and stuff. They all admit that they have no lives.

It's weird. Our teachers tell us everything about their personal lives.

Especially my drama teacher...we're like...actual friends.

He's like "I CAN'T ADD YOU TO MY MYSPACE UNTIL YOU GRADUATE!"

At my school, the English department is the we're-actually-published-and-know-what-we're-talking-about-but-will-sit-down-and-help-you-with-your-poetry-and-argue-Joyce-with-you cool one (wow, that was a lot of -s), and they're all friends and really, really awesome.

(But all of the math and music teachers are young, attractive, musically talented males! It's awesome xD)

its kinda cool when you get to know your teachers on a more personal level than a "professional" one. ive actually had the chance to get to know my teachers and theyre actually pretty cool....

I know a few cool teachers in my school, mostly from the History/English Departments (which share an office) and the LOTE/Religion Departments. There's one or two from the Math/Science section, but not many likable teachers come from there in my school.

The teachers I admire are the ones who really know and love what they teach. I've had the pleasure of having quite a few of them in Religion (last year), History (both years), Spanish (last year), and English (this year).

Man all of this sounds so cool. I wish I had awesome teachers like that.

My school sucks :( .I'd be lucky if half of my questions got answered properly.

My Religion teacher this year doesn't answer questions...at all. Such a big difference from last year. I guess you win some, you lose some...

my math teacher tells us about his personal life and about his beliefs about everything. i think its cool to learn about teachers outside of what they teach and know that they are like us.
