Teaching Credential or more math courses

Greetings everyone,

I am currently prepping for transfer. Where ever I transfer to, I will be taking as many graduate courses as possible. My goal is to work in academia as a math professor. Maybe a few years in industry, perhaps. However, my question is should I take as many graduate courses as possible as an Undergrad? I would graduate with enough graduate courses for a graduate degree if I were a grad student. Or should I use my extra time to get a teaching credential in math?

Extra course in math vs Teaching credential for Graduate school admissions. Prepping to be a Math professor. Thoughts?

Teaching credential would for teaching high school.

For your goals, try some graduate courses and undergrad research. You may still have schedule space for other electives to help other directions if the PhD path is not to you liking.
