So, I'm applying to Oxford, where students get 2:1 student:professor tutorials at least once per week, and I really like that idea of being able to discuss ideas with world-leading academics.
Essentially, my question is this: how much of Harvard's politics, economics and philosophy classes are done in small group teaching? I know that the introductory economics classes are huge, but what about others?

Philosophy: very much most, although definitely not 2-person tutorials every week from freshman year. Economics and government: not most, although by the time you’re an upperclassman you can probably arrange having about half be small-ish.
