<p>We were talking about this in band camp today, and our whole section came to the agreement that they are both a ‘jerk’ and ‘cocky’. But I personally don’t care, I mean, they’re both on the same team.</p>

<p>Honestly I’m annoyed at both of them because the media won’t shut up about them. How about we get some real coverage of other sports like wrestling, judo, table tennis, weightlifting, handball, taekwondo, badminton, sailing, or any other sport that is lucky to get a total of 30 minutes of TV coverage instead of the media being waist-deep up in Phelp’s and Lochte’s butts?</p>
<p>(nothing against them personally, just the media’s god-awful coverage of the Olympics, really. same way with gymnastics. Douglas and Wieber are phenomenal don’t get me wrong but that doesn’t mean I want to hear their names on the news every 2 minutes)</p>

<p>Hmmmm…I like both, but I feel that Michael Phelps has won more medals, and I feel that he’s been in the Olympics longer, and he’s younger than Ryan Lochte. So I guess I like Michael Phelps better, but I think that because they’re both on Team USA, I’m on Team Phelpte!!!</p>

<p>… But if I had to choose my favorite Olympic athlete, it would most definitely be Phelps. He was the highlight of my Beijing Olympic experience and although he is taking the London one less seriously and focusing on having more fun, I’ve also had a fantastic time watching him this time around.</p>

If he was a politician, that wouldn’t be the case, but he’s a professional swimmer so I don’t care if wants to waste his money on bling.

<p>420 for life! I also like his attitude better. Lochte comes off as too cocky, especially since he wears grills. Lochte has his mother saying that he “only does one night stands,” while Phelps is admitting he’s had a lot of struggles to work through.</p>
<p>If you want to talk about American swimmers, I’m Team Missy Franklin. She is kind of fine.</p>
