tech help

I need to know if there is any tech help on the GT campus if my computer crashes for some reason.

I was wondering the same thing for my DS who will be at Tech in August. I think there are some kind of computer services available at the B&N at Tech Square and we did find information at resNET, [Computer Repairs](http://www.resnet.gatech.edu/office/Pages/computerRepairs.aspx). Maybe a current/former student can give us a better response.

B&N would love to sell you a new computer but doesn’t do too much in the way of service. If you have a problem, you should go to the OIT (Office of Information Technology) help desk in the basement of the library, which I think will be moved to the CULC in the fall. It works on a walk-in basis and they’re pretty helpful but they can’t fix everything. Make sure you regularly backup your files so that if a crash happens, you can continue working in the library. Your Prism drive is a great way to do this. It happened to me one year and having a good backup made the process of waiting for the repair relatively stress-free.

What is CULC?
