I am almost done with my first semester at a CC in Virginia. I was looking at schools to transfer to in NYC or near that area. I plan on staying at this community college for two years to get my associates. I know its early but I just wanted to look anyways. I'm looking for a school that would be recommended for someone with an associates in Information Technology.

I don't mind it being a trade school or traditional. I'm just looking for somewhere to go that fits my study. Somewhere very affordable too because I know how much out of state tuition can be. I was already accepted for a Pell Grant this year so it's possible I will still be eligible for Financial Aid later on. Finding a place to live isn't much of a problem because I do have family I can stay with there.

I was planning on just transferring to George Mason but I find it more interesting and much more of an experience if I went to a school there instead.

Thanks in advance. Any other help or advice would be great! Don't be afraid to be honest or critical with your answers either.
