I need to download a couple of PDF files, namely the one on the UVM VIP app. However, I couldn't figure out how to type on it and I'm not that familiar with using PDF files at all. Is it okay to hand-write that section? All I fill in is name and address and then I turn it over to my counselor. An answer, or advice on typing in PDF files, would be great!

Unless it specifically asks you to, don't worry about it. Typing (with a typewriter) or writing neatly in pen should be fine.

If you don't have a PDF editor, just use mspaint or smth to write on the PDFs

I've never heard of those programs...do I need to download them? Are they free?

never mind...answered my own question.

Never heard of mspaint?

Finding a reliable free pdf editor is next to impossible. Just use a regular image editor.

I don't know how exactly...I have mspaint, but how exactly can I use it to write on the application? I've been fiddling around with it but haven't figured anything out yet.

Well, i don't think you can directly open a pdf with mspaint, so what you do is print-screen the app, paste it in mspaint, and then use the "add text" thingy.
