Technological Situation?

I notice that Princeton Review's book states that "the technology [at Fordham] is far behind that of many schools", and "dorm Internet connections are slower than dialup."

Lots of times, info like this in college books does not reflect the latest situation. So my question is, Does anyone know the current status of technology at Fordham? Have they upgraded the cable and network connections at the Rose Hills and Lincoln Center campuses?

Actually, it's true! Compared to other schools in the NYC area, Fordham is behind. The WiFi network on campus is not as robust as you might come to expect, however, it still works. Coincidently I was on the phone today with the computer support hotline because I just got a new laptop - a MacBook Pro, and to my amazement, the school's web mail service, Lotus Domino, supports neither Safari nor Firefox browsers on the Mac. This equates to a very unpleasant experience retrieving and composing school related e-mails. :-(

Behind I tell ya!
