Hi I am doing a survey for my English final and would like to get responses about whether or not technology benefits or hurts early child hood development. All response will be recorded and given in the final packet but all names will be blacked out to protect names. here are some questions and thank you for taking the time to respond.
- Does your child(ren) have technology devices?
- Does technology benefit child developmentally in your family?
- Is technology detrimental to your family?
- Has technology changed your children’s behavior and personality socially, mentally, and physically?
- What age was appropriate for you to introduce technology?
- Have your children lost interest in other activities or relationships since you introduced it?
- Can your children disengage easily from using technology?
- Can your child entertain themselves without technology . . . in their free time? at a restaurant? in a waiting room? while riding in a car?
- How does your children respond if you told them to put the device away, or if you had to limit their time?
- Do you have clear guidelines with technology use?
- Do you trust your children about them following the guidelines while they are at friend’s houses?
- Have you set up clear age-appropriate parental controls on their devices?
