Tee hee, another chance thread!

I am a white female who applied to the UW. I also auditioned for the music school but I found out today I didn't get in. : ( Tough luck.

Anyway, let's chance me! I've taken five AP courses and six AP tests, my with fours on the four tests I've taken so far. I'm also currently in the UW extension program for both my language (Spanish) and my english.

Here's my GPA trend: 3.4, 2.8, 3.0, 3.3, 3.0, 3.5, 3.4, which gives a cumulative of 3.2. Eeee. Although I am smart. My weighted GPA is a 4.1.

My SAT is 2110 with a 770 on the reading and 760 on the writing, and a regrettable 580 on the math. I haven't taken it again because I'm sitting pretty on my high reading/writing scores.

What else about me? I wanted to be a music major (until today but I will probably audition again in the spring) and I am in-state.

I'm excited! And nervous. I hope I get in.

Now, really, I don't intend to chance myself!

You are the small % of people who get in with a low GPA. Your SAT score is too good to pass up.

^I wouldn't completely agree with that...

Emily, do you have any ECs? As for the music school, I'm not sure what's going to be happening to their programs with these budget cuts. A lot of the music and arts programs are getting hurt unfortunately.

Yes, tennis, I do! I'm taken piano lessons since I was eating semi-solid food, for one. I've also been in my school's drama production, part of Hi-Q, and a Human Rights Club, as well as being my senior class Vice President. Also I'm in the midst of an Independent Study in AP Art History.
