<p>Application Process:
Step 1
1. Complete the online application form and submit the Terms and Conditions from our website: IHW-elec
2. Submit the following: A color copy of your passport, your CV (with education qualifications), and a handwritten essay
3. After all documents have been submitted, a telephone interview will be held to assess your spoken English level.</p>
<p>Step 2
1. Upon receipt of your full application and all support documents, we will inform you of your acceptance to the program within 5 working days.
2. You will receive an invoice for the program fee, once this is paid you will be placed with a host school in China.</p>
<p>Step 3
1. You will receive a Letter of Invitation within 15 business days of paying your program fee. This letter will be used to apply for your visa at your local Chinese embassy.
2. A handbook and orientation letter will be issued to you.</p>
<p>Step 4
Arrival in China!
1. Please bring your travel policy of insurance and general medical check-up letter to China
2. We will arrange airport pick-up and you will check into your accommodations.
3. You will begin orientation, our teacher training program, and summer camp.</p>
<p>Finally, you will begin teaching at your semester internship!</p>
<p>After our training program and successfully completing the TEFL program, interns will be sent to their host schools where accommodation will be provided for them. </p>
<p>Interns are responsible for:
• Creating weekly lesson plans
• Working closely with students and their host school
• Participating in afterschool activities that aid in cultural exchange
• Working 15-20 hours a week
• Fostering the academic growth of their students</p>
