Tegrity / e-learning tip

I’ve heard through the grapevine that some students are having trouble getting into Tegrity (the e-learning thingy that lets you re-watch/hear your profs’ lectures).

Here’s what my DS did to rectify the problem. It worked like a charm:

** Forget Internet Explorer (a good idea in general). IE is the Auburn of web browsers.
** Download Google Chrome. Takes about 30 seconds. Easy as pie. Just google “Google Chrome,” click on the link, and it’ll walk you through the rest. It’s super-easy and intuitive. Just one more milestone on Googe’s path to world domination.
** Use Google Chrome to access e-learning and Tegrity. Voila. No problems.

If e-learning thinks you’re already signed in, sometimes it gives you an error message blocking access. (I haven’t seen it do this with Google Chrome, but it does do it with Firefox.) Just quit completely out of your browser, then log back in, and you’ll be fine.

If you know anyone using Tegrity (and having problems), you may want to pass this on. Thanks!

Love google chrome.

Moi aussi!
