Tele-bears Crisis!!!

<p>Now that Phase II of tele-bears has started and I need to sign up for
classes I have a few questions.</p>

<p>First, when I tried to sign up for Math 1B, either class (CCN#54250 &
CCN#54298), I get a list of disscussion sections that are all full! Why
would the class have seats open in the class but have no sections to
accommodate for them? I also have not figured out a way to get myself on
the wait-list for a disscussion section. Does this mean that I have no
chance of getting in this lecture for now as tele-bears will not let me
enroll unless I choose a section, but there are no sections to choose
from. Will they open new disscussion sections to accommodate for the
remaining spots in the lectures?</p>

<p>Second, when signing up for History 5 (CCN#39039) I noticed that some of
the disscussion sections overlap with the lecture time. How will this
work?</p>

<p>You need to waitlist the class and then waitlist the disscusion. They will probably find room for you.
As for history, i dont know what to tell you. Thats weird. Sorry.</p>

<p>A lecture may have "available seats" but still have people on the "waitlist," because these people were not able to get into the section that they wanted. Since they have no section, they are not enrolled in the lecture. You can put yourself on the waitlist for a section thats full by clicking "Add to Waitlist" on the left panel under the "Enrollment" category.</p>
