Tele-BEARS

I still have a few weeks before Phase 1, but I was wondering which of these courses realistically require Phase 1 enrollment and which can wait.

Here's my plan:

L&S R44 (5 unit Reading / Composition course in Western Civilization)
EPS 50 (4 unit Introductory Earth Science course)
Geography 10 (4 unit Cultural Geography course)
L&S 1 (2 unit, P/NP, Introduction to Liberal Arts)

I'm a Physics major with an interest in Earth & Planetary Science; EPS 50 is a prerequisite to the Geophysics major. But I have no reason to think that EPS 50 is a popular course, meaning I might be better off enrolling in Geography before Earth Science. (L&S R44, being a Reading / Composition course, is a definite Phase 1 for me.)

Thoughts?

My roommate took L&S 1 last semester. It seemed really stupid. It is a course to help people try to find a major, if you already know what you're interested in, try for the EPS or Physics seminars instead

I've heard it was stupid, but I'm not taking it to find a major. Rather, I'm interested to hear what professors have to say about the disciplines they find fascinating.

But, stupid or not, this doesn't really answer my question posited in the original post.
