Oh, wow. That’s a tough schedule (unless you’re great at all of them, in which case you’ll get straight As). I can’t advise you not to, considering my schedules are equally as insane. Just know that while getting As on all these is not impossible, you’ll probably be spending a lot of your time studying. Don’t expect to be able to chill out with friends every weeknight; you’ll be constantly doing pre-labs, lab reports, and problem sets. And this is just from my experience with Math 1B, Chem 4B and Physics 7A in the same semester (I took another two classes but they weren’t technicals).

On the other hand, this sort of schedule is quite representative of a CoC schedule, so you’ll know if you can handle the workload. Plus it’s sort of satisfying to work your butt off and realize that you can actually get that much work done.

Definitely phase 1 Physics 7A unless you don’t mind attending an 8am lecture and a 4-6pm dis/lab or something equally as unpalatable. Leave Math 1B for phase 2; it’s really easy to get into and the turnover rate is really high. I don’t know anything about E7, sorry For Chem 4B, if you were already in CoC, you could probably leave it to phase 2 if you didn’t need a specific lab. Considering you’re in L&S, though… I’d suggest you get a spot in the class in phase 1. Also email Maura Daly, the CoC freshman adviser, and tell her you want to transfer – it’ll help you get into Chem 4B.
