<p>I was just wondering why do some students need advisor codes and some don’t? Does anyone know?</p>
<p>momfirst3, in some majors (and for people with double majors), they need to see an advisor before telebears so the advisors can make sure the students are on track.</p>
<p>Okay, thanks… I guess engineering undeclared is one of those majors… 
Still trying to figure all this out. I don’t bother my son and let him handle it all, but I do find this whole thing interesting. It is so different from the universities of my other two children.</p>
