Does anyone have any info/experience on them? Thanks.

I know someone in FPF who’s staying in them this upcoming semester, and well, he couldn’t be happier if that’s any help hah

two of my friends lived there last semester. It kind of looks like dorms and they have building-wide activities (also like the dorm). One of my friends liked it and is living there again. My other friend moved out after 1 semester. So @_@ i guess it depends on the person

I heard westminister is good from a girl that lived there last school year. A lot of FPF kids stay there too. She lived in a quad with three FPF’s.

Haha Zee17 Killthefifi was referring to me buahah! Tiffani the manager should pay me for how much I rep Telegraph commons.

Here’s some notes:

Anywho I think it’s the best place out there. Reading through the forums most of the complaints about it pertained to the management, but they’re switching management so it can only get better I guess. Check out their website telegraphcommons and e-mail Tiffani (tiffani@telegraphcommons.com) for pricing info. I think final payments are due some time near the end of June so you don’t have much time left.

Wait nvm I just checked and the final payments are due by July 22nd so you have about a month to decide.

Lmao, I was gonna send you this thread Chris!
Now I really wanna live there. phaha

My lottery number was 282, so I decided to sign the contract with Telegraph Commons last Saturday. Anyway, the first down-payment was around $1700 and I can pay the balance (of about the same amount) sometime around move-in week (August 22). This only covers the fall semester, so you can still move into the university dorms for the spring semester. The refundable security deposit is $400 (which is included in the overall fee). Telegraph Commons is under new management so they’re renovating two floors (there are a total of five floors), in addition to the lobby. This includes new carpet, new beds, new closets, minifridge, etc. And each floor has a common kitchenette (stove, microwave), and either a study or TV area. TC is the most affordable private dorm at Cal yet it is still comparable to the standards of the university reshalls. The rooms are bigger and more comfortable than the units by a long shot. Also, it’s really close to campus (and unit three), and not at all a long distance from the FPF building. TC doesn’t have a meal plan, but you can buy non-resident meal plans with Cal Dining for prices ranging from $600 to $1100 each semester. Sooo… I highly recommend signing up with TC, but do it ASAP because rooms are filling up quickly. Good luck.

hey pneumatic, i’ll be dorming in the commons too! Look forward to seeing you there in the fall.
