Tell it to me straight doctor

Okay, so I’m trying to decide if its really even worth my time to apply to Brown.
I absolutely love the place, but its also Brown, so lots of other people love the place. Is it even worth my time applying EDII or RD and what do my chances look like for both. Do I have a snowballs chance in hell? If I do, is the snowball big enough to squeak by?

SATs: Writing 760, Math 640, Critical Reading 660.
Spanish: 580, Lit 580 (Mononucliosis)
Test taking is not my forte, this is clear in my counselor rec.

GPA around a 3.6/3.7 at a competitive New-England Prep school. There is no class rank but I have a very high average GPA compared to most. I would say top 10-13. I made a note that there were some issues with having mono and untimely divorces. I have consistently made high honor roll.

Very opinionated essay on walking out of a Cultural Coffee House meeting after the teacher in charge posted pictures of kids drinking on a billboard and jeopardized their futures at my school.

Two very good recs: (from the dean of students/history professor and the head of the English department.)
I enjoy long walks on the beach and so-forth.
an excellent recommendation from my boss in Colombia.

I submitted two extra little blurbs on my experiences with international travel and what it means to me/changed my life (getting robbed at gunpoint in Colombia and visiting Palistine with an NPR reporter and an eccentric anti-Zionist writer)

I have a feeling the numbers game is not in my favor. Do you think the “what?” factor of my EC’s could overthrow that?

Honest opinions appreciated. You have probably heard it a thousand times but hey, if CC isn’t for neurotic “chance” threads I don’t know what it’s for.

you're scores are low, but your character might overshine that fact although the subject tests might hurt.
