is there some dorms where its mostly freshman? and whats the difference the between the LLC’s and regular dorms?

Where should my son try to live? He is direct admit to Kelley, and thinks the Kelley LLC sounds good, but he also not a partier. He likes to watch and play sports and video games, but is not interested in drinking, and the things associated with it ( messy halls, loud halls). The central neighborhoods sound more his style, but is there anyway to get Teter? Also, is all of McNutt, where Kelly LLC is located, crazy. Is it possible to request an academic floor within the KellyLLC?

iowa - I’m a son of an admitted high school senior as well, so we’re still figuring things out too. Is your son in the Hutton Honors college as well as being a direct admit to Kelley? If so, if he selects honors as his top priority for housing, and selects Central neighborhood, he has a good shot at Teter, because that’s where the honors floor is (I think). But he may or may not get his first choice anyway…

I believe that the honor floor in central is located in Teter. Perhaps others can confirm. Just make sure that you do not select premium as it is possible to trump your other options and you may be assigned to Eigenmann.

KLLC best mix of partys, social people, and strong academic values.
so best dorm there is.

anyone have any opinions or experiences with the collins llc or the health sciences llc?
