Tell me about Risely

Do they have single rooms?

Is their dining room really as nice as i have heard?

Generic question: which dorm is the best for getting to know upperclassmen?

1) I don't know for sure...I'd imagine so though; most dorms have at least some singles. For an incoming freshman, however, it'd probably be difficult to get a single in Risley (assuming they have them) since they'll likely be reserved for upperclassmen.
2) Yes. Yes it is.
3) The program houses would probably all be about equal as far as meeting upperclassmen goes; again, I don't know for sure which ones have the highest concentration, but they'll all obviously have more than the all-freshmen dorms.

Risely does have single rooms. I don't know the availability for freshmen, but if you are interested, you should try to e-mail or call someone responsible for that dorm to see what is still available as the upper classmen have already chosen their rooms. I agree that the program houses are probably best for meeting upper classmen as the only upper classemen in the freshmen dorms are the RA's. But remember, you will meet upper classmen through your extracurricular activities and classes that aren't strictly for freshmen.

Do they have single rooms? Yeah

Is their dining room really as nice as i have heard? It's pretty cool, but it's always full of really weird Risley students.

Generic question: which dorm is the best for getting to know upperclassmen? Probably west campus housing.
