My cr was 600 my writing was 560-580 my math was 720. im from nyc. i don’t like cold weather but hey at least there are no mosquitoes in the cold am i right?

There’s no mosquitoes when it’s cold, but in the early fall, spring, and summer there’s lots of annoying bugs (black flies, horse flies, mosquitoes, etc). I’m not a student but I live in a similar climate and I’ve visited a couple times. Clarkson’s on a river so there’s bound to be bugs in the spring especially.
And just so you know, when people say it’s cold there, it’s COLD there. I’m from the Rochester NY area so I know cold (we’ve oftentimes had school with 1.5-2 ft of fresh snow and -30 degree windchills). That being said, I vicited Clarkson in the winter and I found it exceptionally cold. Just be ready with a good coat, boots, and mittens. If you want ti go there, you’ll be fine!
As for SAT scores, the averages at Clarkson are surprisingly low for a tech school. I’m certainly not an expert, but I think you’ll be good! Just try to show a lot of interest. Visit at least once (twice would be above and beyond but improve your chances of acceptance) and schedule an interview if at all possible. If you wan to go there, just show them that you will enroll if accepted.
It’s definitely worth checking out… i’d seriously consider applying! (I know I am)!)
