Tell me about your "small businesses"

<p>I've read many "chances" threads, and I saw that a lot of people owned small businesses</p>

<p>Well, if you do have a business,</p>

<p>1) Tell me what the business is about or what it does</p>

<p>2) Tell me how you started the business</p>

<p>I would like to start one but i have no clue how and in what field.</p>

<p>Someone at my school sells sandwiches their dad makes for them.</p>

<p>A kid at my school ran a small business where people paid him for pot. He got kicked out.</p>

<p>hey lockn, i know a kid who used to own a small business that was quite similar to that. same thing happened. guess the economy for whatever pot is ruins businesses. there should be a government bailout for such things.</p>

<p>That wasn't supposed to be a question, that's seriously the only small business you can make a profit with at that age.</p>

<p>LogicWarrior, I've seen people said they own a business that generated like $5000 revenue or whatever... I'm wondering what kind of business they do.</p>

<p>Hopefully they're not all drug dealers.</p>

<p>I personally don't know her, but I've seen a girl on an art site who paints on shoes, hats, bandannas (bad spelling?), ect. It seems alot of the kids at her school are willing to pay too. And then I'm pretty sure she got hired by a local store to start painting for them.</p>

<p>lol 2 relatively lucrative small businesses i can think of: selling certain mind-altering chemical substances, tutoring on the arts of reproduction</p>

<p>a guy at my school made ALOT of money selling CDs or “arts of reproduction” (when the internet was so slow)… but later he got caught…
some people trade cards (Magic, Yugioh, VS) and also made some money</p>
