for example,
the tuition fee is about $40,000.

I wanna know every single detail!
I've already checked cornell website.
Is there ANYTHING that you might want to tell me?
maybe the food is great? people are nice?

apparently you didn’t check the website too closely as tuition is closer to 53000

$57,000 for 2011-2012…gulp…(see website)

Not sure what you guys are talking about. Tuition is a bit over $40,000.

The endowed schools are about 40 for NY residents all other schools and out of NY pay 57K (swimmer is correct) see the following
https://www.finaid.cornell.edu/costs/

Tuition is 41K, room and board 13K. 57K is total cost of attending.

57 thousand?!? Jesus these bastards are getting audacious. Definitely not worth 57K.

A LOT of private universities are in the 57K range. When you guarantee admission for people, no matter what their financial aide needs are, that might contribute to rising tuitions at these schools. Each individual has to decide if it’s worth it for them - that’s not for another person or a group of people to determine.

SOMEONE has to pay, so be happy there are those that will.

BTW I know NOBODY that pays ticket price, wait for financial aid to get a decision. I know a friend that pays almost nothing to attend (non NY resident) for a contract college.

Families with income over 180K are most likely full pay, and a lot of families from NE have that kind of income (cost of living is also a lot higher in the NE).

FA for students going to contract school is not dependent on whether someone is a NY resident or not. NY residents pay discounted tuition when going to a contract school, but do not get more FA. How much FA a student gets is all based on EFC.

Back to the OP’s question: The food is really, really good.
