I am having a tough time deciding where I should apply ED this fall. My top 3 schools are CMC, USC, and Dartmouth. I don’t know to which I should ED1 but I know if it’s not CMC I will still apply there ED2 (will this look worse than ED1? I’ve heard it both ways) because they have it available. I visited in August and really liked the campus and what I heard in the info session but it’s so hard to get a real feel for the campus without students there; same goes for USC. I have not visited Dartmouth and I don’t know if I will get to before I have to apply so I am posting this in their forum too. Thanks to anyone with any advice or comments!
Just visited my freshman daughter. She couldn’t be happier. Every day there is so much to do throughout the five campuses. She has made many different friends through her orientation group, her dorm, and now her classes. She is happy being among her academic peers. Classes are interesting and challenging. Her time is packed with classes, study, activities, and parties, but yet she still has applied for an on-campus job. She is on the shy side and not the typical jock type, and I wondered how much she would put herself out there to the community. But clearly CMC is a place that makes it easy to do so, and she is enjoying it immensely so far.
Awesome! Glad to hear it’s still a fun place. I heard rumors that the administration was trying to tighten up, haha. Thanks!
