<p>Freakin out guys, everyone tells me that I'm pretty sure to get in, but my mom is a negative nelly so I need some unbiased opinions here. UF has been the only thing I ever wanted :3</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.4-ish
UF weighted: 4.0
ACT: 32
SAT: 1950
AP classes: Human geography, Chemistry, World History, Art History, US History, English lang, Psychology, Calc AB, Biology, Government/Macroeconomics, Calc BC, English Lit, Statistics, Physics B
Clubs: National honors society (2 years), Debate club (1 year, treasurer), Young democrats (4 years, founder), Science national honors society (2 years) Mu alpha theta (1 year), habitat for humanity (1 year)
EC: Intern for United States Senator, Counselor in training over the summer, worked in father's sandwich shop since I was about 9, went to spain over the summer to help spanish kids learn English; about 500 hours total in all of those ^^^^
White male, middle/high income.

<p>When I first saw your gpa I thought “ehh”. But then I saw your classes and extracurriculars, holy crap they are great. Your SAT score is good and your volunteer is phenomenal. Statistically, you are very,very likely to get into Summer B (97% I say).</p>

<p>The 1950 is a 3-score…that’s good? I thought that was average, my ACT was the one I was really happy about. Still thanks for the encouragement though <3 :)</p>

<p>actually i just found out it’ actually a 1980 even better haha, and a 2 score of 1320. well thanks for the opinions guys :slight_smile: guess the only thing i can do now is wait till tonight</p>

<p>I know this is late, but from what I can tell, your stats are under qualified and below average for UF. I think your decision will be out of your favor.</p>

<p>Are you sure that you have a 3.4 GPA ? I think your GPA might be much lower than that…I don’t understand how you got rejected…your SAT and ACT scores are way above the 75th percentile…I was thinking why is this kid trying to goto UF…he is too overqualified but you got rejected…you should appeal the decision…What major did you apply for ?</p>

<p>Listen I was the extra curricular master I did everything and everything in high school from sports to student GOV. my gpa was higher then yours but your scores edged mine. It isnt based off of that stuff anymore. My brother who was admitted 5 years before me had less in every category and got in. Times change. They only want the TOP 30 from schools now and give up on well qualified well rounded students. Tell your mom she should be supporting you not being negitive</p>
