Now my best bet IMO is to continue to pursue amateur film-making. I have my trusty T2i, and I do take IB film, so I could get something good out. Despite what my SATs indicate, I am a in many ways a good writer, but in the grammar way is not one of them. I apparently have a good voice in my essays, and grammar can be easily fixed with a good proofreader.

Now I intend to pursue EA at Yale, since there is a decent film culture, but also because of the idea of residential colleges fascinates me. I also intend to apply to Harvard, Cornell, and Stanford, as well as small schools like Bowdoin, "film schools" like USC and NYU, and state schools like UF and FSU.

While I always had a passion for films in general, only recently have I actually been making some, with various degrees of success. The Film Club hasn't been as I planned out, mainly because people are so busy either with academics or other ECs that they either lost interest or have simply been too busy. Now I am determined to start making films for the sake of have a portfolio as well as finding my personality a little more.

However, my ECs are not strong either way... yet. What should I do? Pursue the film thing? Or go for a community service project? What will give me the pop? Am I on the right track?
