Work a lot to pay my chinese education and I am an assistant at my parents' business.

How about Ivies? and top Lac's? and what's better to retake SAT I or II

First generation

I know my SAT's are not that well and my EC's are not very much. Just don't have any time left after 7days school, work and tennis. Chinese culture is what I really am interested in.

Are you applying to any Chinese universities?

With two SAT II scores above 700, I'd focus on retaking the SAT.

Are you intending to play tennis in college?

Anyone else???
Chinese Universities are too expensive

Please reply... need to decide which college to choose

bum-p..........

okay... scratches head Let me wake up...

I got a pal who got accepted by Johns Hopkins, Wesleyan Uni, Carleton College, Macalester, Clark Uni, Juniata and Uni of Rochester with a 1100 on the old SAT and around mid 500's-mid 600's on her SAT II (Writing, Math I and Chem). GPA of around 3.8? We don't rank in our school, she was very active in community service, esp over the summer.

That said, she's Sudanese and your stats are a bit weak compared to many of the stats of the other Chinese ppl on CC I see around or know in life. However, you're also part Dutch, which I think is really interesting and cool.

Are you goin' to play tennis in school? Maybe the Ivies would be a long shot, not so sure about the top LAC's you're considering.
