I’m just super excited to never have to think about SAT again!

It’s decent. I’ll probably take one again in September/October, but I’m too lazy to prep for it. I’ll probably just wing it again.
Question: If I broke 1500 cr/m is there really a point in retaking it? My ‘dream school’ is University of Michigan Ann Arbor.

I am so happy about the CR right now! Cr was definitely my worst subject I can’t believe I improved so much!!! A little tip to anybody retaking: read the news! I got the WSJ delivered everyday FOR FREE and it helped so much.
@ fln my motto is if you think you can do better, take it again. Your scores are great, but only you know if it’s really worth taking again.

I’ll probably retake, I got 800s on all my math practice tests so I know that’s in my reach. Writing was terrible for me, I wasn’t prepared at all for the essay and I just winged it. Hopefully I can bump that essay up to 10 or so.

I thought I missed more in cr. Expected 800 math but oh well :(

How did you guys all study in order to get such a highs score? Any tips? Please

2300 XP, 800 M, 800 CR, 700 W. Psyched with the 1600 CR+M, not with writing. Expecting a 750+, oh well. Retake? It was my first try though.

Whoa, same as you, Lanayru. Yeah, no way I expected that 800 on CR. I’m glad the math curve wasn’t -1=760 or anything, but seriously that’s disappointing.

A 2380 does make me incredibly happy, though…at least until I remember that stupid math problem with the pie/pizza/whatever. The whole cutting in halves before doing the 1/3 and 1/5 totally got me. But no way I’m retaking while I’m sane. So…sucking up the bitterness on math, I guess, and on to ACT math!

What hurts the most is that someone got a really good score, but got a 710 in writing and put “ouch!” next to it. My best score out of any section was a 700…in writing.

Self prepping FTW indeed.

W 670

CR 690

Getting a 690 on CR is insane… to most of you, this is a mediocre score… but I only started prepping at the end of January and the first time I ever took an untimed test, I missed around 15 CR questions… I’ve come a long way and I’m damn proud!

P.S. 680 in math? Lol the highest I’ve gotten on a previous practice test is 630. Thanks College Board! hehe ;)

P.P.S: I woke up this morning at 4:30, opened my laptop, saw my scored, yelled, ran around the house, and texted my girlfriend (and woke her up)… I was expecting a 1950 at best! Ahh, I can’t describe the feeling you get when you see you surpassed your expectations…

Really curious about what I missed on the math section… Hmm.

2310! I feel like my work paid off. :)

Reading: 760

Writing: 800 (80 with a 10 essay)

This was pretty much the best I could’ve hoped for because I know I missed 2 Math questions and at least 2 Reading questions. I felt my essay was an 11-12 (felt like a Superman as I was breezing through it) but an 800 is awesome either way.

My parents had no idea what range I would score in because they know nothing (absolutely nothing) about the SAT… they got a nice surprise lol. I set a high goal for myself (2300+) and honestly didn’t know if I met in my first sitting… very happy right now.

2100

I kind of expected that score for CR, I knew I screwed up. Math completely screwed me over though, I was expecting low-mid 700s. Especially since I’m always the top student in my math class (even though SAT math is completely different than high school math) and I was consistently getting perfect scores on the Math practice tests. I guess I just wasn’t focused. Oh well, I’m happy with my score and will probably only retake so I can get my math score up.

I DID NOT PREPARE AT ALL. On the other hand, you are all unearthly beings who make magical perfect numbers appear on your results pages.
