Telluride Assocation Summer Program (TASP) 2014

Just submitted!

Haha, one of my essays was terrible. To be fair to myself, I only found out about this thing 3 weeks ago, and writing 6 amazing essays in three weeks on top of everything else is harder than it seems. But I am proud of a few of my essays.

It’s ok though. Pretty sure I won’t get in, but never hurts to try :)

Just out of curiosity, how confident do you guys feel about your essays?

Best of luck to everybody!

Just got it in at 12:02; would they be so picky that they wouldn’t accept it because it was 3 minutes overdue?

Gaah worked so hard, had to really rush essay no.5 though, and could only get in 5 books in the list. (Procrastinated essay no.5 and 6) Oh well.

Iceribbongirl- one of mine was so radical (idk how I feel about it in retrospect), one was so solid, one made me cry, and the other was a little awk
Am I the only one not able to sleep right now?!

Hesher12- No! I should go to bed, but I’m just sitting here refreshing this page.
hahaha, don’t worry. I don’t think there’s anyone who feels 100% confident about all their essays.

I’m also white and have educated parents, plus I live in NY, so there goes the diversity.

my essays were teragood

you guys are sweating too hard. this program is tera easy to get into.

all four of my essays were perfect.
my book list is like, tera long. borderline 200 books per day #intellectualitatlity

i think they’ll tera-appreciate my honesty for the four courses
i’m teraconfident bros. teragoodnight peace xoxo

I’m about to cry cause my essays are so bad T_T but good luck everyone!

someone tell me I’m not the only one who has refreshed this thread…

no i am still refreshing. Also, regarding my essays; I don’t know. I felt pretty good about all of them, except maybe the 1st one that felt a bit forced. Also my 5th one wasn’t an essay, it was more like me talking about which programs fit me how, so strangely worded. Good luck to everyone. Hope to see you all at TASP 2014!!! #soexcitedandimnotevengettingadmitted

omg i submitted my app 3 days ago and i’m still coming down from the freakout stage. obsessively checking this thread and the tasp tag on tumblr. i miss my tass friends from last summer so much and they all applied to tasp too, so i hope at least one of them gets in :(

wow I went on the tumblr tasp… I can’t stop. This is unhealthy.

I applied too o.o

i don’t think i can wait until march :c

to past TASP’ers - do you think any one of the essays stands out as like the “most” important one?

ahhhhh im so excited I have never applied for anything before and this was an exciting experience!!! I just want to know my verdict and get this over with !!

this was my second application process (i attend a boarding school)

but if i make it past the first hurdle, it will be my first interview .__.

@stanfordoneday it would be my first interview too!! do you think ill be at a disadvantage if I am applying from outside the states?

from what i’ve seen, it’s a very diverse program - but where are you applying from? so far in my search i’ve see acceptances from international places like: Japan, Germany, China, and France.

Doesn’t matter. Read TASP FAQ.

@stanfodoneday im from canada… so technically not that far… but im asian so… D:

Ugh I really want this so bad :c

This wait is killing me. and this thread is so dry! Lol

I don’t know if I can wait til March.

Should we make a list of everyone who applied on here? So we can post the results of CC statistics for future generations lol.
