@drakonus I put basically anything that was important to me and anything I was passionate about. If you’re passionate about STEM too, go for it.
Submitted! Good luck everyone! <3
Just submitted! GL
Hi, a Korean applicant with an urgent question here.
I’ve just clicked finish session and the page that pops up has ‘unsubmitted’ labelled.
Is this natural? Because the deadline is not over yet?
Need help, thnx!
btw i was a big procrastinator and kinda rushed my essay within the last two weeks… :))
feeling so stupid seeing all the great essay topics here.LOL
@bullcrow98 you have to go to page 5 of the application and follow the instructions there. There will be a separate submit button on that page
Ugh there’s a glitch on the app page that’s making me delete extra characters noo
@loquatical it’s just a matter of formatting. i cut and pasted my responses into a word processor (like notepad or ms word) and then pasted it back into the boxes and then it magically had fewer characters…worked for me, didnt work for my friend who was also applying. good luck!
did everyone write like 1500 words per essay? I wrote for the three esssays with 1400 words, 1200 words, 500 words. lol i guess that will become a stat for future tasp-attempters to look back at
ITS OVER!!! DIDN’T EXPECT TO EVEN APPLY TODAY, MUCH LESS SO CLOSE TO THE DEADLINE!!!
lol wonder who applied at 11:59 pm.
@CanisMajor Mine are 1100, 1200, and 1200.
I swear my resting heart rate dropped like 20 bpm from this past week to now.
And now I wait until March when I find out that the hours I spent on these essays was a waste of time. Oh well, at least it was good practice for future college apps.
ETA: My essays were 1480, 1490, 1000.
@loquatical @CanisMajor 1490, 1490, 1300?
900, 900, 350.
I felt like there was nothing more to write about.
@CanisMajor me lol…time stamp was 8.59.47
@inmemoryof Mine was 8:59:46! You submitted one second after me. And we both procrastinated til the last second
Good luck to everyone! I just realized I neglected to fully answer a question (how will you contribute) as I didn’t see it until I turned it in… Oh well! It was fun writing the essays.
Btw
Is Telluride pronounced “tell - long u - ride” or “tell - ur - id” or “tell - long u - rid”
It’s pronounced TELL-yoo-ryde.
Turned my app in last night, hoping for the best!
